Correcting soil pH is very important, depending on what you are wanting to grow. Commonly grown plants that can benefit from our Lime include: Lily, Iris, Bluebell, Crocus, Geranium, Hyacinth, Poppy and Morning Glory. Most vegetables prefer a slightly acidic soil (pH of around 6.5-7.0) potatoes tend to prefer soils a bit lower pH than this to flourish. Some veg will grow well in Alkaline soil, such as Asparagus, Leeks, Lima Beans, Spinach and Mushrooms (amongst more).
