    Bad quality item. Don't buy if you don't want to eat the flaking off coating...

Was initially happy with the product's look and feel, only to find out a month into its use that it chipped on the edge and its silver coating started corroding on the inside of the scoop. And that's scooping soft ice cream every now and again! :(Poor cast metal quality (I don't want to know where that chip ended up!) and poor coating quality (wouldn't want it to start flaking off into my ice cream on regular basis!).Shame I am past the "returnable item" date. Scoop is destined for gardening work now....Off in search for a better scoop.
