It allows me to easily plug in everything I have, without worrying about lack of space. I bought a cord management "sling" for under my desk and this fits inside perfectly. I can't speak to the longevity or its surge protection just yet, but I'm hopeful this will last a very long time. This came well packaged and beautifully crafted - does not feel cheap - worth the price!

Great power strip! I finally threw out all my old extension cords. Of course, you shouldn’t overload any single outlet, but for low-draw devices like a printer, camera, router, etc., this strip is perfect. Wire looks very strength. Plenty of slots, solid metal build, and the 15-ft cord is very convenient. Highly recommended.
