CHESTNUT Wood Wax 22 , 450ml Clear A blend of beeswax and carnuaba wax in a non-harmful solvent making a soft paste wax which is fast and easy to use, ideal for use on lathe work, bare or sealed wood, furniture and other finished surfaces. Specification Typical uses: To finish bare, sealed or previously finished wood on or off the lathe. Drying time: Within five minutes Coverage: 3-8 sq,m per litre Compatibility: Can be used over any of the sealers or lacquers, Finishing Oil Tips: Apply thin coats, buff as soon as possible Clear conforms to EN71 for use on toys Thinners: Not Applicable Safety Considerations: Highly Flammable. ## Questions & Answers

**Q: Is this suitable for use in bathroom (bare oak shelves and cabinetry)? Any advice for best application?**
A: Whilst the polish is brilliant for any wood not exposed to moisture, I really wouldn't use it in a bathroom. Condensation will mark the shelves and spoil it.
I apply with 0000 grade wire wool , let it harden then buff afterwards. My husband uses his old socks  , really works a treat.

**Q: Please, does need a sealer? Many thanks.**
A: I use acrylic sanding sealer before the polish. I think it depends on the type of wood and what sort of finish you are after.

**Q: Is this wax silicone free ?**
A: sorry don't know.
