I wanted a light that would hang from the center of the ceiling of the tent and these fit the bill. I hung both at the same time and turned them both on and they were not bright enough to make out what was on the floor around the bed. I don't want to be blinded by the light, but I do need to be able to see. They both worked fine the first trip then one stopped working two weeks later on the second trip. I changed the batteries with two different sets and compared how I was reassembling the one not working to the one working, but I couldn't get it to come back to life.
