Yes it does fade but it isn’t permanent and it’s a great way to refresh between dye jobs without further ruining the hair. The downsides are it does stain skin! It does come off with a good scrub mind, but wear gloves if you can. Also it does have a weird smell. Not something that lingers on the hair afterwards but at the time it’s pretty funky. Transfer to towels and bedding etc as expected but so far hasn’t been permanent and comes out in a wash.
