## Description

Native to Mexico, this tuberous perennial is famed for its highly scented soft pink flowers, used commercially as cut flowers and for perfume. To grow successfully in colder climates it needs a sunny site, with the tubers being planted in a frost free greenhouse in deep pots of free-draining compost. These can then be stood or plunged outdoors in a sunny spot for the summer where they will bloom and scent the garden. In the autumn, lift the pots and keep frost free for the winter.
