Review: They don’t soften - I followed instructions and the beans never softened up. I looked up online and people said you have to soak these for days before cooking and not to eat them if they’re firm b/c they’re toxic unless soft! I cooked for 4 hours longer than package said and they stayed firm. And awful tasting. I would give zero stars if possible. Don’t buy these unless you are familiar with lupini beans.

It was easy to prepare the beans. I soaked them overnight, rinsed, then cooked them in slow cooker for 4 hours and rinsed again. To store them, you need to place them in a mason jar, add some salt, garlic clove and fresh filtered water and put them in the fridge. I make delicious salads with them. They are full of protein and taste kinda like edamame.
