Review: Complete Anglican Hymns Old and New - I bought this hymnal as it's the standard one in use in my parish. I am currently training for Licensed Lay Ministry and found myself at a disadvantage with other students who all seemed to have their own particular versions of a hymn book. And as I am now at the stage of planning services of the word, it's important to have to hand the appropriate hymn book in use in our context to be able to insert hymn numbers into service sheets. As a book in comparison to other versions that I have access too - it's modern and has most hymns that we use. But there are some omissions that occasionally cause loose leaf hymn sheets to be used. Overall a good buy

I bought this hymnal as it's the standard one in use in my parish. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ A comprehensive resource

This is not the larger organ version that I expected but the smaller Choral edition. I have knocked one star pf it's rating for two reasons. The first is the quality of the paper which is very thin and the binding I have seen repaired on numerous copies of the book. Some of the reworkings of the words are clumsy and just done to be inclusive, ruining the original poetry of the hymn. However, this is a valuable resource and one of the most comprehensive hymnals on the market. I pair this with the most recent Ancient and Modern and this covers most of my needs.
