I was actually amazed how good it looks, the horrible white mark which was more than just limescale has been removed and now it’s back to the original shine. So i was asked to make 2 bowls to hold some car keys. I used some salvaged laminated beech bed lats and some old wood fence planks. You can see these in the first pic. After gluing and turning / sanding to 320 grit I applied 3 coats of the finishing oil to the bowl. This is in the last pic and the video shows it with a single coat of beeswax over the top.The colour and grain comes through really well just remember to apply the oil then leave for 10 mins and give it a wipe over to remove excess (otherwise it can become sticky) and allow 5 hours ish to dry properly.
