Were they expecting fine fresh Italian home cooked flavor? I bought these as an easy option to grab on my way out the door for work, and they've delivered perfectly. I think the flavor is quite pleasing, a little spicier than your average alfredo, but still very good. There is a bit more sauce than might be necessary for the amount of pasta, but I generally dip some Ritz crackers in it and that tastes great. For the price, the meals are filling and tastier than I find many of the other microwaveable lunch options out there. I do wish it had chicken or some sort of meat in it, but I also find that the quality of meat in ready-made lunch items like this is generally sub-par so it doesn't really bother me much. They also are actually ready in 1 minute, unlike many options that have to be stuck in there for an additional 2 or 3 minutes to cook fully. These have become my favorite go-to lunch option at work. They really are Ready Meals! Health issues make these a steady meal favorite. I cook mine for 90 seconds in microwave - like my food good and hot. Gives me time to do my add-ons and mix it well. Need to be sure product is situated at the bottom of the pouch before opening. But practise makes opening ok!But, I like the combination of cheese flavors. Keep my condiments handy to add: lots of pepper, a tiny bit of habanero powder - that's really hot!, some garlic powder. But health issues make the convenience of these really appealing.
