I had a mesh version of this design without the top load and it didn't work for a best natured but traumatised, struggling cat, as the zips became misaligned. Not such a problem with this with the top load plus the shallow side pocket has a zip instead of velcro. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Stunning *by A***D on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 20 May 2020* I bought this carrier to take my new pup to have her jabs. Its strong, lightweight when empty. All round view so your pet can see out. And has a lovely padded removable padded base. All round well worth the slightly higher cost. I love that there is mesh on all sides and it's top loading. My dog had a bad experience in a different travel bag and i needed one that she can where i am all the time. We haven't used it to travel yet as I'm still training her to feel happy in the bag. My dog weighs 5.4 kg and she is 50cm long and not very tall . So it a perfect fit for her.
