I had seen clips from this show on You Tube and decided to see if there was a DVD.  Great to find one on Amazon.  A bit expensive but you get two CDs as well with the music and minus the chat that goes on within the performance.  Joe Brown and his team can still capture the audience and the repertoire covers a wide range from his early hits to near classic instrumental.  Boy is Joe good on his guitar, mandolin, etc.  I love it.

Joe Brown just gets better with the years....we've seen him in concert with Marty Wilde, which was brilliant, but this recent show with his son Pete and three other great musicians topped even that. All multi-talented, this Liverpool gig has something for everyone - skiffle, folk, rock, blues, classical - you name it, they can play it. And the comedy banter between the numbers, so natural. This DVD was well recorded (plus you get the whole show on 2 CDs) - no flashing lights or strange angles - just like being entertained in your front room! I've even bought myself an Ozark mandolin! Buy this DVD/CD set and prepare to enjoy over 2 hours of pure genius!!
