Smell is quite strong and the fact that at first layer it goes off from the edges, so you will need to do by 2 fingers. It goes on beautifully and is really hassle-free in terms of no base or top coat. Unfortunately, the next day on of my nails chipped, so I had to re-do it. The product does last well but it does wear off the tips of your nails, a bit like nail varnish does. When applied, it is not as thick as a lot of gel varnishes, so I felt that it didn't protect my nails as much as other brands. The real problem came when removing it. The colour I had was very dark and I found that I had a residue around the sides of my nails and my nails were slightly coloured. This colour was easily removed by buffing but of course, you don't want to buff your nails too much for fear of weakening them.
