I had a bottle of lotion in that pocket. I haven't put anything heavy in here and it still came apart. It kind of cracks me up that in the picture for this caddy, it shows it full of stuff and a girl putting a laptop in it. Don't do that unless you want to get a new laptop. Not only is its stitching suspect, but it is also far too flimsy to have anything that large in it. I have the top bunk in my college dorm and it is so convenient to have this to put my stuff in when I am in bed rather than having to climb out of bed, down the ladder, and back up. I was pretty bummedd about having the top bunk for the reason that I would have a lack of storage, but not with this! Not to mention it is quite sturdy too and can hold an adequate amount of weight (I can put my13in. macbook pro in it and it won't fall).
