Review: Power supply is 12V. Be sure you're not trying to power a 24V item. - I bought this unit to power Pautix strip lights but it wouldn't turn the lights on. I thought this power supply was defective and wrote a 1 star review. I soon thereafter received an email from the company very politely suggesting that there is nothing wrong with the power supply. Rather, the email gently continued that the Pautix lights require a 24V supply and this unit provided 12V. In brief, they told me the power supply is not compatible with the lights so of course it wouldn't turn them on. Boy, am I embarrassed. There is nothing wrong with the power supply. It probably works just fine with something that requires 12V. But it obviously will not power a 24V item. It was never designed to do that. So I apologize to this company and thank them for their gentle and polite email. They would have been absolutely justified in sending an email that said "Hey, stupid. The problem is operator error. Our power supply is 12V and you're trying to run a 24V item. Does that give you any clue as to why it doesn't work?" But they didn't. So, again, I thank them.

I bought this unit to power Pautix strip lights but it wouldn't turn the lights on. I thought this power supply was defective and wrote a 1 star review.
