I used the 20 g of date seed coffee recommended, added a small amount of boiling water, let it bloom for thirty seconds before stirring and adding the rest of the boiling water. I then let it sit for 2-3 minutes, then pressed. I made a perfect two shots of espresso and my taste buds could not tell a difference at all from real coffee bean espresso! I have adrenal problems and am insulin sensitive with subsequent digestive problems so real coffee causes a cascade of problems for me. I needed to get rid of coffee altogether. Other alternatives such as roasted chicory, dandelion, cause digestive sensitivity and just do not have the smell and taste of a dark roast or full bodied espresso roast. This product does! I’m so grateful to God for dates and that date seeds exist , with the health benefits and none of the problems with real coffee beans i can safely enjoy my date seed espresso and sacrifice nothing.
