Lightweight, but durable and expensive looking. Fits most cups and mugs. I use a #2 filter which fits well. Brews the perfect cup of morning coffee in about 5-8 minutes with 4-5 pours. I watched a YouTube video on "how to make pour-over coffee" and made sure I had the technique down prior to purchasing. The ground size is important (slightly granular, not fine) and making a little divot in the middle of the coffee grounds for the initial pour helps to layer the coffee uniformly, as does swirling the filter slightly after the initial pour. The #4 dripper almost looks like copper finish with solid weight and looks really beautiful. I was over joyed just by looking at the build. But when I started brewing coffee , though it’s well made , the V shaped paper filters creates an air lock and causes the water discharge to be very very slow. This makes my coffee very bitter . I used the same paper filter on a Hario or a Bialetti dripper , the flow rate is normal.
