Turned out it was user error.. I had to figure out how to put it in. The side edges flip up to contain liquids and they were somewhat flattened from shipment. So I folded them in to make them more square? After that I folded the mat length-wise, slid it in to bed of the truck and started tucking it in as close as I could . (with side flaps up) I did one side first and the other side just fell in place. I was happily surprised. It does have a hump in the middle, so I put something heavy on it, as they suggested. It does fit well and seems very sturdy. Sorry TripleAliner for giving you only 3 stars last night, but I have now made it up to you. I like the product! Thanks, C.
