- Max speed: 5,000 to 15,000 RPM. Provides variable speed to connected tools when stepping on the pedal with varied pressure. In order to operate with variable speed, your grinder must be switched to high. Not every tool is capable of operating at variable speeds, please be sure your tool has this ability.

**Q: How can a foot pedal be rated in rpms? what amperage will it handle? - that's the question.**
A: I use on Dremel tool rated a 1.6 amp

**Q: I’d just like to confirm that this variable speed foot pedal works with the Dremel 4300?**
A: It works with any tool as it is just an on/off style pedal. All this does is on/off the power supply.

**Q: Can I use a revlon hairdryer with this? I use it for alcohol ink painting and would love to have an easier method of changing speed/turning off**
A: The foot pedal is an on/off switch so if you connect it to the hairdryer and depress the pedal electricity will flow to the hairdryer. The dryer will run at whatever setting it’s on. You cannot change the speed with the pedal but you can turn it on and off. It will work as described with a hairdryer.

**Q: I am running DC 5v need for this to handle at least 10 amps, will this pedal work. I have burnt out 2 sewing machine pedals.**
A: The pedal has no specifications on it. But it was made for low amp items such as my Dremel which states 1.6 amps.
