Most nutritionists I've seen say eat fresh fruit for your vitamins. I do know that dried fruit not only increases your sugars but requires you drink more water for it to be properly hydrated for digestion. Otherwise it will pull water from your body. However, these are the best banana chips I've eaten and nice when you're craving dessert. **Q: Is it Sweet?** A: They have a natural sweetness, but not when it’s like an overripe banana. **Q: Is this dried chips? They look wetty and fresh in the picture.** A: Yes, they are dried chips and they taste very fresh unlike the stale taste of other brands I've tried! **Q: Are these fried like most banana chips?** A: Yes, these are standard banana chips (albeit a little healthier than some using only organic coconut oil and organic sugar). If you are looking for something healthier, perhaps look at some of the freeze-dried banana options. They are GREAT!!! They are, of course, dried but are easy to eat and have a great flavor. I tried a couple of the other brands of Banana Chips and found them not satisfactory so I will continue to buy these. I find that I eat a package of them every week or so. They are so good that I have cut down on eating candy as I prefer these banana chips for a snack. And the container is well made so you can just put the lid back on and put it in the refrigerator to keep them fresh. I just ordered 2 lb bag of banana chips (32 oz.) for $9.99 albeit they are not "organic," but a much better deal because I really don't care about that label. Basically you're paying double the price of what you can get them for elsewhere if you're not particular. The best part about the chips is that the texture is EXCELLENT.
