Basalt is a black porcelain collection that mimics slate stone but is much better than slate: it won't scratch, absorbs neither fat nor odours and is resistant to chipping. The pieces are food friendly – they are cadmium and lead free. Made to last, this collection is specifically hyper-resistant to thermal and mechanical shock. Suitable for salads, soups, side dishes (mashed potatoes, rice, vegetables…). Oven, microwave (300°C), freezer and dishwasher safe.
