The charge all day and the best part is they don’t have to be in direct sun to charge. I have mine clipped under a tent in the shade and it charges perfectly. They have little clips on them so you can hang them from a fabric or a rope. They’re super easy to move around. They are waterproof and very bright. I absolutely love these lights and will probably end up getting more.

These are the cutest little lights. They have clips and hangers. they even send an extra clip. I used them in my backyard after turning them and charging them for a day. They lasted at least 4 days before dimming a bit. I had them in my trees and they were shaded so zi was surprised. Nice heavy glass and metal bases. They are a great deal. Save the box to pack them away in if you are using only for occasions. Love them!
