But was amazed by the difference it made! I used in freshwater 5.6 gallon tank. It was kinda big for it but it fit! Was having an issue with alge bloom after only owning my tank with goldfish a month. I did realize that it could be the factors of over feeding and too much light. Even though we were only feeding a few flakes a day. Now we've gone to feeding every other day. Anyways, after using the uv light we noticed a difference within 4 hrs. The next day was way better. Within 2-3 days the water was clear. This pic is a week later. Crystal clear! Going to turn off and then back on in a week. Maintenance says to clean uv light but in don't think it opens up to wipe down. I would recommend. Review: Best purchase! - My tank was cloudy and 100% green- you could not see even an inch deep!
