But it cuts 40mm wooden kitchen worktops, so if your talking standard wooden doors same or less thickness, then yes. **Q: Would the supplied blade be ok for nice smooth cuts on mdf? looking to make a few shelves and doors?** A: Yes, I cut 1.2 x 2.4 m boards, outdoors, resting on 4 pallets on the ground. If you get a 2.4 m straight edge clamped to the MDf as a guide, or just follow a pencil line **Q: Does this actually come with a case as it says in the description ?** A: Yes this comes in the Makpac case Many thanks **Q: It coming with a disk?** A: It comes with a blade. Many thanks ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Reliable, powerful saw — excellent quality from Makita *by on Reviewed in the United Kingdom 3 July 2025* This is a great piece of kit.
