Our Torchiere casts a warm white glow in any direction, providing enough light for a large bedroom or 20 x 15 living room.You can adjust SKY 30’s brightness settings with a simple tap of a button. Power on, and the light comes up at color temperature of 3,000 Kelvin. Hit the power button again, and bask in a brighter 4,000K. Tap the button a third time and the color blazes at 5,000K! Within each of these settings, you can hold down on the power button, and watch the light cycle up and down through a brightness gradient. When you reach the desired ambiance, let go of the power button and SKY 30 Flux will stay at that light level. ## Questions & Answers

**Q: I want to tun on the light as I enter a room. Does it work from a wall switch?**
A: Yes, but it does not "remember" your last brightness and color temperature setting.  It will always "boot" to 3000k and full brightness whenever you turn the wall switch off and back on.  If you like 4000k or 5000k or a dimmer light level, you must re-adjust the lamp every time you turn it on from the wall switch.

**Q: How many lumens is this lamp?**
A: Beware: it only puts out 1600 lumens, at least in the incarnation they are selling now in 2021. The text at the top of the description says 2700 lumens; the text in the longer description says 1600. I tried replacing a 1600 lumen bulb-based lame with this, and got the same amount of light.

**Q: Do you make a model that is simply on/off, without any delay when using with wall switch?**
A: Unfortunately, we don't currently have a model that works that way.

**Q: Is the lamp certified by a testing agency such as underwriter's lab (UL) or similar?**
A: Yes, all of our products are UL listed.

El diseño y la luminosidad son excelente, pero el sistema de conexión entre el módulo de la lámpara y la barra que une con la base es extrañamente muy inestable y tiende a desconectarse casi con cualquier movimiento (como mover la lámpara para la limpieza cotidiana), lo que obliga a realizar aburridos y complicados procesos de desarmado y reconexión que, por la propia naturaleza inestable del conector, llevan a varios intentos frustrados antes de lograr que todo quede nuevamente en funcionamiento. Si tuviera un conector de "snap" y fijar sería perfecta
