Ii did, after the original one wore out. **Q: Do you have to use oil** A: Yes, oil is necessary to efficiently pop the corn without burning. Here's a trick I use: substitute half of the oil with regular or spreadable butter. You'll get the buttery flavor without the greasy, soggy mess (I SO hate that!) **Q: Is it stainless steel or aluminum?** A: Aluminum with nylon gears. A stainless steel popper is available but it is more expensive. **Q: Can this be used on an induction stove?** A: I don’t see why not. Might take a few batches to find the right temp. I’d start with medium low. ## Frequently Bought Together - Original Whirley Pop Popcorn Maker - 6 Quart Popcorn Popper, Aluminum Popcorn Maker With Metal Gears, Wabash Valley Farms Stove Top Popcorn Maker, Gourmet Popcorn Pot, Culinary Popcorn Popper (Red) - Orville Redenbacher's Gourmet Popcorn Kernels, Original Yellow, 8 lb. - Concession Essentials Flavacol Popcorn Season Salt, 1ct-35oz Carton --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.com.ar/products/609269848-wabash-valley-farms-original-whirley-pop-popcorn-maker-6-quart](https://www.desertcart.com.ar/products/609269848-wabash-valley-farms-original-whirley-pop-popcorn-maker-6-quart) --- *Product available on Desertcart Argentina* *Store origin: AR* *Last updated: 2026-10-02*
