**Q: Are these heat safe? To use on a hot plate for example.**
A: Graduated cylinders should never be put on a hot plate.If you need to heat up a solution use a proper size Pyrex beaker or flask.

**Q: what are the dimensions of this item?**
A: 1 1/2" wide x 11 1/4" (from top of base) tall. I am able to place my hydrometer and wine thief inside it at the same time. Be careful, I broke one before by knocking it over. I found a fix, lowes hardware sales a rubber sink gasket that fits over the top.  so if it falls over it will hit the rubber ring and the glass wont be damaged. Over all its great.

**Q: whatare graduation intervals & are they ml**
A: On the 10mL the major gradient is in 1mL, the minor are 0.2 mL.  On  the 50mL the major is 10mL and the minor is 1 mL.  On the 100 mL the major is 10 mL and the minor is 1 mL.  The markings are clear, easy to read, and of a brown/yellow color.

**Q: Are the measurements accurate or are they approximate measurements**
A: My pharmacist friend says it's best to use at least 20% of capacity for accurate measurements. Thus for 100 ml, use at least 20 ml.
