Fairly easy to turn. Love how it diverts completely and easily. This fits a our 3" pipe. I was so worried it would be too small but it is perfect. It fits inside the 3" perfectly. Review: Nice quality - I am using this to divert grey water from the shower out to my landscaping. I chose this size because UPC code says you cannot reduce the size of a drain pipe. The 2" diverter reduces the size of flow. This 3" diverter allows for continuous 2" water flow.
