I wanted to mount it on the center beam on the ceiling, but my fan didn't come with the "adhesive pad" that it's supposed to come with, so that's kind of a bummer ( I have to ding one star off for that). I might use my Dremel & cut a couple keyholes in the back cover to mount it on screws in the beam.Overall the fan itself moves quite a bit of air and really helps even out the heat in my ice house. I really like that I can aim the individual fans and it's not terribly loud. In my photos, it's sitting on the counter right above the heat vent and it effectively blows the heat to the front and back of the Ice Castle. Oh, one last thing, if you set it on a counter as I do, use a piece of that grippy shelf liner stuff under the fan or it'll scoot all over the place. ### ⭐⭐⭐ 3.0 out of 5 stars Adhesive to stick the fan to the dashboard isn't very strong. *by A***R on Reviewed in the United States 🇺🇸 on November 18, 2020* These are kinda bulky and I don't feel like they are a good size for a dashboard. They don't really cool the air as they are not actual air conditioning units and just stir the hot air around which helps some. They are kinda loud which makes it hard to hear music or conversation in the car. I rated them 3 stars because the adhesive didn't hold the fan on the dashboard, extreme heat plus adhesive doesn't exactly work, and they fell off and broke. ### ⭐⭐⭐ 3.0 out of 5 stars It's not that powerful *by K***Y on Reviewed in the United States 🇺🇸 on July 16, 2019* Doesn't work in a jeep liberty because there isn't a dash to put it on . I guess you could try to mount it in a spot that would create a blind spot. It's a fan, but not very powerful. It got some hair stuck it in pretty quick and that almost broke it. But a good deal that is better than nothing if you have no other choice.
