I can see that the charger is also charging when left in dull November light, though I suspect it would charge quicker in sunnier environments! It also seems to charge under indoor lighting if it's close enough to bulbs which were on anyway.My phone charges quickly from this too & I have had no complaints with how it's worked since I bought it.
