The insert is pretty light in weight and the dividers between sections are very thin and flex easily if you push them. It isn't exactly flimsy but I have another insert which is in beech and that is certainly more robust. I don't think it makes much difference, though, once the insert is in the drawer so I can't see any great problem. The finish is good and the individual compartments are of a sensible size to take standard sized cutlery, with the long side pieces suitable for larger items such as cooking utensils, cake slices, etc.. Mine was perfectly packaged with no problem whatsoever, the adjustable part of the tray sliding in and out easily. The only request I would make to the supplier, please, is to give its measurements, either in inches (for Neanderthals like me who glaze over if it is in anything but), and cm's/mm's for anyone born after the move away from standard English measurements - that will please everybody. But measurements we must have - closed or extended; would be a great help. As I now have two, I can sort all my cutlery I need to store in the trays as I wish.
