I have tried store bought premixed flavored waters and flavored little packages to add to water but nothing worked. I am so amazed at this product. I couldn't wait to get it. When it came, I opened it up and washed it. I cut up a couple of strawberries, grapes, blackberries, raspberries and half a mandarin orange and put them inside the infuser. Then I put in the spring water and wow, immediately, the flavors came alive! After pouring my water in, I noticed a small black piece of plastic floating at the top. It must have came from the filter piece. Not sure. From my experience, it is a little tricky screwing the top on, so make sure it's completely screwed on and tight because it will leak. Other than that, so far it's been good. I'm not discouraging anyone from purchasing this infuser water bottle because I haven't had any extreme issues with it, I'm just giving you my experience with it.
