The manufacturer should take note because it hurts the reputation of the product. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Helpful prior to disc replacement surgery *by J***M on September 27, 2017* I used this traction device to help prepare my neck before a disc replacement surgery, as the replacement disc is as tall as a healthy disc, but it was replacing a badly degenerated disc. I had a similar surgery a year ago, and I was not prepared for the extreme muscle pain for several days after the surgery as my neck muscles adapted to being stretched about 1/4" longer at rest than they were used to. I hoped that pre-stretching my neck muscles would reduce that pain for my second surgery, and, at least for me, it worked! I used the traction device for 20 minutes at least once each day for the 10 days prior to my surgery.
