To remove bug remains, tree sap, bird presents from your paint, spray on a soft cloth, dab the spot, let it work for a moments, dab on more, let it work and then hose off. To clean engines, mats, wheel wells, etc., spray on, allow to clean for a few minutes, gently brush heavily soiled areas and then rinse off with water. Leaves the finish sparkling clean with a fresh orange scent. Wont damage paint, chrome, aluminum, rubber or plastic. Do not use any degreaser on a hot surface. Am I able to spray the alternator down? I had a bad oil leak, is it safe to clean?** A: No. Do not get solvents or water in the alternator - unless you want to replace it. Generally speaking, water and electrical equipment do not get along well, solvents even less so, particularly alternators. "But the alternator is under the hood and gets dirt and oil and stuff..." Yeah, the bearings in it are sealed to protect them from that stuff but brushes and other components are not which is why the engineers who designed your car put the alternator in a protected location or designed it to sling water out. Getting solvent in it is a whole different situation. Better idea: cover the alternator, clean everything else, spray everything else then clean the alternator by hand - small brush and wipe dry. (Baked on oil? Use oven cleaner.) **Q: Does it remove all prior waxes and sealants?** A: I am sure that it would- however I have not tried it in this capacity - I would use a clay bar instead - I mainly use P21S Total Auto Wash for exhaust pipes and wheel wells, where it works best. **Q: Is it safe to rinse it on my driveway (blacktop)?** A: I did and had no staining or issues on driveway. **Q: How many engines will one bottle clean?** A: I’ve used it twice on my F-150 engine.
