### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Cheap, but very slow write performance

This review is for a Kingston Kyson 64GB USB stick, priced at under £7 delivered. Supplied in a retail packet, it is of a metal construction, although the metal is quite flimsy, unlike some others of a similar design I own. I doubt this would stand up to too much abuse, such as getting crushed in a tight laptop bag. Tested in a Windows 11 PC and a M4 based Mac, no issues were encountered from a compatibility point of view, and it comes preformatted with FAT32, so easily read by either OS without reformatting. After formatting, capacity is approx 57GB, and H2testw proved the capacity is genuine. My only slight disappointment is the write speeds are quite slow, under 20MBytes/s, nowhere near the claimed 60MB/s. Read speeds nearly matched the claimed 200MB/s at 186MB/s. Given the competitive price for a big brand 64GB stick, I think it offers good value, despite the slow write.
