Review: Airflow Issue Solved, Turns Out Regular Filter Cleaning Is the Key - I am writing this review after using this AC for almost 3 months. After about 2 months of usage, I started noticing a significant reduction in airflow, and I was quite disappointed. Even on VIRAAT Mode, the air throw felt much weaker than before. I contacted LG customer support and raised a service request. When the technician visited, he checked the top filter and found that it was heavily covered with dust. Because of the clogged filter, the airflow had reduced drastically. Once the filter was cleaned, the AC immediately started throwing air properly again, just like it did when it was new. So my main suggestion to all users is: clean the filter regularly. I personally clean it every weekend or once every 10 days whenever I get some time. It takes hardly 5 minutes, and the AC performs like new afterward. After learning this simple maintenance tip, I realized that the AC itself is actually very good. It cools the room effectively and is extremely quiet during normal operation. You will barely hear it running, even at high fan speeds. Only VIRAAT Mode or Diet Cooling Mode produces noticeable sound. Initially, because of the airflow issue, I was planning to give this product 2 or 3 stars. However, after understanding the actual cause, I am giving it 5 stars. The issue was due to a basic maintenance requirement that can happen with any AC, not just this particular model. Therefore, I don’t think it is fair to reduce the rating for that. I am sharing this experience so that anyone facing a similar issue can try cleaning the filter first before calling a technician. It may save you both time and effort.
