Made from clay and cotton, this urn is 100% biodegradable and safe for both water and ground burial. It will float briefly before sinking gracefully and breaking down naturally over time, allowing for excellent dispersion of ashes in water. The urn comes with a certificate of biodegradability, making it suitable for ocean burial on most cruise ships. This urn is TSA approved for air travel and is made in the USA. The lid attaches to the bowl with biodegradable glue and 20 clips, which should be removed before burial. Review: Large vessel - follow instructions & it worked well - We followed the instructions and this worked really well. It floated for about 10 minutes and then dropped down, it was a neon blue color under the water that was really beautiful. We actually had a funeral home transfer the remains into the bag that came with this so we didn’t have to. They packed it loose enough to perfectly fit into the vessel. It’s more of a shallow dish like a pasta bowl shape. We glued it and clipped it the night before then transported it in the box it shipped in to the boat. It was beautiful.
Review: Worth it! - Perfect! Just what my father wanted. I can't tell you how amazing this urn was. It was absolutely the right choice. We chose this urn because we read about horror stories when scattering ashes and we didn't want to come in contact with them. The price was the same as most of the options at the mortuary. This urn float for just about 1 minute and then sank. We threw flowers and it was just beautiful. We took it to the mortuary and they had no problem following the directions. At first we worried about taking off the clips that hold the top in place but they are to set the glue and I had no problems carrying it. The top did not come off. When we were ready we just popped the clips off, the crew opened the entrance door and I layed on the deck to gently lay it on a wave. Beautiful experience!

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A beautiful farewell

My husband wanted to be scattered in the ocean. After quite a bit of indecision, i finally chose this lily. It is much prettier in person. Our family took turns decorating it with meaningful drawings that reminded us of who he was. We filled the biodegradable inner bag ourselves. The directions say to use all the glue, which seemed a bit excessive. When you apply clips, the glue oozes out from between the plates and is somewhat messy. Also the package does not indicate how long it takes to dry. We assembled it the night before, and it wasn't dry the next morning, which caused some concern. We chartered a sailboat and released it three miles from shore. It was a short drop from the boat into the ocean. Despite the wet glue, it survived the drop without coming apart. We had placed flowers on top, and it rode the waves as The Blue Danube Waltz played in the background. It floated aound twenty minutes before starting to disintegrate. It was a beautiful farewell to a life well lived. I was pleased with the flower urn, and would recommend it.
