I bought these to get to the serial number on the side of the stereo in the mrs Ford fiesta with a 6000CD unit, as the battery was replaced and she didn't have the code. So first thing is you have the 4 slots around the unit to push in the the tools, make sure all the curved edges face into the centre of the car and only go in till you hear a click, don't do what I did first time and push all the way as you can't remove the unit and getting the tools out again is a real pain!
