The build quality is great! It's NOT going to fold over or bend/distort - at least unintentionally. I'm pretty sure I could stand on it, but I've only got the one OPi5+ for now and I like the board too much to risk it - lol. The fan is nice and quiet, heat sinks are what you'd expect. A different fan could be easily used if you wanted as the attachment points are standard from what I've seen around.The cutouts are perfectly placed and there's even just a bit of wiggle room if you're not happy with the spacing. An m.2 fits easily bare, but you may need to pick up some extra spacers to raise the board up a bit if you're using a chonky heat sink on the ssd. I got the earlier model that didn't have the antenna holes, but even then the case was easy to mod to add them - just thicker aluminum than I was expecting. I trimmed a little off the earlier heatsink that was included and now it fits just fine. I'm still perfectly happy with the purchase and have this listing saved if/when I pick up more Opi5+ boards that need a longer term home.One reason I chose this case specifically is that it's got some additional height compared to some of the other models around. It's not a huge amount, but if you want to fit some thicker heatsinks on the board, situate the board higher and use a heatsink with your m.2, or use a thicker fan it's easily done. Installation only took 10 min. Totally happy with case, price and speedy delivery. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ The good, the bad, and room for improvement *by W***E on Reviewed in the United States on 1 July 2023* While I wish I had taken a picture of the heatsink mounted, well, it simply would not fit as it was physically OVER the end of the audio jack. There is just ONE thermal pad for the cpu. In order to mount the heat sink, I had to grind down the corner by about 1/16th of an inch. When mounted, the heatsink also covered 3/4 of each memory chip, and does not make contact; so it would only have served to keep the memory chips warmer. It also appears to have been crooked, not mounted flat to the CPU. So, off it went, and I installed a copper heatsink in its place. Installed some Raspberry PI heatsinks on the memory chips.Other room for improvement. It's a metal case; many wifi adapters come with external antennas; it'd have been nice if this case had knockouts for wifi antennas.The case design is nice; it comes off in two pieces and is well designed otherwise. Build quality is EXCELLENT. The best approach to drilling holes into the case for wifi antennas is a drill, not a dremel.The fan is decent enough, but I can hear the fans at about 3 feet away. Overall, not a bad design.The heatsink is a waste - as it does not fit properly.Should have knockouts or holes predrilled for two wifi antennas.Other than that, I will consider buying a second case for when the next board comes in the mail in about 2 weeks. It's a sturdy design that protects the board from the roughness that it will eventually get hit with. Yes, there's a few design flaws, but the copper heatsink I added is keeping the board at about 32 degrees C, with the fan. I will be replacing the fan with a lighted LED fan so I can tell when it's on. But a second case, yes, definitely.So far, there's only two designs for orange pi plus cases on Amazon; a plastic case that is a REAL pain to assemble as when the top or bottom is off of it, well, it's a juggling act to put the top or bottom back on. Looks good, but pain to disassemble/reassemble for any reason. This case is seriously OVERKILL but much better.
