Review: VERY worth the price - great batteries - I bought 2 of these batteries to build a back up power supply for two applications. The first was to run my small QRP ham station in a box that was intended for use during hurricane season here in Florida and the second was to power my cable modem when the power went out (happens a lot here in Florida). The batteries, installed in a plastic box, (purchased from desertcart) worked excellent for either purpose. However, one day, they simply stopped working. (zero output) While unsure of the actual failure I suspected I had shorted them our during charging and felt sure I now owned two bricks. I sent a note to the company and during a long series of exchanges i found that the built in BMS likely went into a safety mode and if I put a small charge at 14.4 VDC i might recover them. Sure enough the Batteries came back to life and they work perfect. I sure never expected that .... I asked for and received the specifications for the BMS. After reading the specs and further discussions with their tech in California I found there were numerous protections built in and the price for the batteries is very justified. Definitely would recommend them.
Review: Better Capacity and Longer Life battery - A GREAT 128 Watt Hour battery! This is a better capacity than a comparable lead acid. However, care should be taken not to exceed the max discharge current or max charge current or Max Surge for 5 sec.. Max discharge rate for this battery is 10A. If possible to keep at or below this, a much better choice than a lead acid battery. If you need higher discharge rates, lead acid is a better choice.

**Q: john a durden, would this internal regulator in each battery be a problem when put in series?**
A: Thank you for your inquiry. The internal BMS of the battery allows for a 2s configuration for 24V, so you can put up to two of these batteries together in series without issues,

**Q: will a regular battery maintainer, such as a 1.5A, charge these batteries? Or do I need a charger specific to lithium?**
A: You will need special charger

**Q: how much does each one weigh?**
A: I didnt weigh them but the pair were lighter than one lead acid equivalent.

**Q: In your ad, 4 are connected in series for 48vdc, but elsewhere you state max 2. i need 4 in series for a smart2200rm2u ups. will these work?**
A: The latest version of this battery does support 48V series wiring connection. However, we might not recommend using these batteries in a UPS system that has the SLA/ AGM batteries as the original batteries, because the built-in charger is designed to charge SLA/ AGM batteries that might not be able to provide LiFePO4 lithium battery sufficient charging and it might also cause damage to the batteries in long term use.

A GREAT 128 Watt Hour battery! This is a better capacity than a comparable lead acid. However, care should be taken not to exceed the max discharge current or max charge current or Max Surge for 5 sec.. Max discharge rate for this battery is 10A. If possible to keep at or below this, a much better choice than a lead acid battery. If you need higher discharge rates, lead acid is a better choice.

Well I bought two of these for my son's 24 v ride on truck. One of them works just fine. Other one did not charge at all out of the box so I returned it and they sent me another one. It worked for exactly 11 charges. Now it won't charge at all. It's been over 3 months since I got it so I don't have the option to return it. I don't know what to do it looks like I lost $100 on this. I don't understand why one works like a champion other does not tho. It's quite frustrating. So if you wanna coin toss chance of getting a proper battery go right ahead.
