Lance Armstrong: Master and Commander! - The Historic Sixth Win! In the end, the startling fact wasn't that Lance Armstrong won the 2004 Tour de France. The surprise was how masterfully he did it, casting off the pre-race contenders stage by stage and forcing the millions of French spectators to grant him due respect, and even a healthy dose of affection. He returned the favor on the podium, addressing the throngs in French. He also strongly praised his US Postal Service teammates. ## Images ![2004 Tour de France 12 hour edition - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/51EJlAa9TgL.jpg) ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Tour De Lance *by S***T on Reviewed in the United States on September 6, 2005* Just another great year for Lance and the Tour. The main reason I bought this DVD was for the Alp Dues (stage 16) which is where Lance dominates in an individual time trial. They show most of the event, cutting out some early parts where the crowd was almost impossible to ride through. Because of that it only got 4 stars instead of 5. They cut out what has to be one of the hardest parts of an event like that... all the people in your way... moving at the last second. The did show some of it, but not the whole thing to give you the real perspective on how crazy it was that day! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Tour *by S***2 on Reviewed in the United States on April 2, 2021* Great race. Great video. Great commentary. ### ⭐⭐⭐ Good Product, Poor Quality *by T***B on Reviewed in the United States on February 17, 2007* From the likes of the (few) other reviews, my six-DVD set suffered from 3 technically-inferior discs. #2,4 and 6 all froze intermittently, usually at insignificant places, but unacceptable for $90. I don't own the other years, although friends have said great things about '01-03 especially. I'm returning this to Amazon for full refund, to my surprise since usually defective 'software' usually only merits a replacement. I'm disappointed with the product, but continue to be overwhelmingly impressed with Amazon, and they continue to warrant as much of my business as they earn. --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.com.ar/products/59248358-2004-tour-de-france-12-hour-edition](https://www.desertcart.com.ar/products/59248358-2004-tour-de-france-12-hour-edition) --- *Product available on Desertcart Argentina* *Store origin: AR* *Last updated: 2026-10-19*
