But it keeps working when it is hot. I ended up using a metal cased Flash Drive (yes it still gets hot) but it cools faster and the socket in my laptop is also metal so heat transfer is better. **Q: What it the write speed???? can't believe the most important information is missing.** A: I've just bought the 128GB version, and am getting around 22MB/s sustsined write speed. Context is everything: I'm using a very fast laptop with SSD, copying through a USB 3.0 port, and the files are large enough not to skew the results at circa 1GB each.
