Review: Amazing lens for photos - I’m very happy with this lens. The image quality is very sharp and the colors look great. The autofocus is fast and quiet. It feels strong and well made. I like the zoom range, it helps me get close to my subject. It is a bit heavy, but that’s normal for this type of lens. For me, it is worth it and works great on my Sony camera. I would recommend it.
Review: A must have lens for any creative! - After spending months of looking at options between this lens and the Sony G Maister, I decided to go with this and 1000%. I don’t regret it the quality the speed of this lenses incredible. After using it for a few months now between photography and videography, I would highly recommend this lens for the quality of images and video output. The only minor negative I could say is a lens cap, It’s a little bit weird with the little twist screw on and if you don’t remove it completely, you can’t use the zoom correctly. The bokeh coming from this lense is super clean, i’ve used it in both outdoors to photograph headshot and lasso photos and also indoors for stage events to photograph Kino speakers and record video content as well.

I’m very happy with this lens. The image quality is very sharp and the colors look great. The autofocus is fast and quiet. It feels strong and well made. If you want a fast 70–200 for Sony without paying G-Master prices, this is the sweet spot. Before buying, I dug through a lot of tests, and results consistently put this lens between Sony GM I and GM II—and my real-world shots back that up. What stands out Image quality: Tack-sharp across the range with great contrast and pleasing bokeh at f/2.8. Autofocus: Fast and confident for action; it kept up for my sports photography with very few misses. Stabilization (OS): Lets me use slower shutter speeds than I’d expect and pairs well with Sony IBIS. Build: Pro-grade construction, weather-sealed feel, and a thoughtful control layout. It looks and handles like a serious tool. Value: Not cheap, but best value in the 70–200/2.8 class for E-mount. It’s already paid for itself in gigs. Could be better Weight: It’s heavy. I shot a little over 3 hours handheld and felt it in my back. For long sports sessions, plan on a monopod/tripod (or some back-day workouts). Bottom line Outstanding sharpness, focus, stabilization, and build—at a price that undercuts Sony’s G-Master while delivering pro results. If you shoot events, sports, portraits, or paid work in general, this lens is an easy recommendation.
