PTM 7950 is probably the best thermal paste you can buy for a laptop right now. I tested it on my Dell G15,it performs admirably and beat the OEM thermal paste used by Dell in my laptop I would highly recommend this PTM7950 thermal pad to anyone who has an overheating laptop **Q: how's the performance?** A: So far seems to be extremely good. Applied this on a Dell XPS15 9570 laptop, the temps have dropped by around 15 degrees. and this product seems to stay within good price! If you need moderate price thermal conductivity thermal pads, I would recommend this thermal pad! Worth a try **Q: Hey, how is this comparable to "Honeywell" 7950 phase change thermal pad. Is this the same thing?** A: I've installed it in a very hot trashcan Mac Pro in both GPUS and CPU and the temperatures have dropped by around 15 degrees. to the point that I can overclock the GPUs safely in windows. I'd say the performance is incredible but I can't say for certain if it's as good a one sold by the name brand Honeywell. but from reviews I've seen on YouTube and other commenters on other websites seems like these are also Honeywell, just sold in bulk to resellers. **Q: Just recently replaced my paste with these pads on my laptop.Should i be concern if i made a cutof the pads thats bigger than the cpu die?** A: No. It's not electricaly conductive. It's safe ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ The PTM7950 is incredible and absolutely worth it. *by on Reviewed in India 16 November 2025* alright, this is a game changer, first of all the packaging was pretty good, i didn't expect the packaging to be so good. The thermal pad actually does wonders, before using the pad, every gaming session, my CPU temps were always 95+ and the performance due to the thermal throttling was pretty awful. I played for an hour after applying the ptm7950 pad, and the temps only touched 81° C. it's ridiculously good, and i do think this is the original one because the packaging and stuff looked pretty premium. totally worth the buy, also my laptop is HP Pavillion Gaming 15 with Ryzen 5 3550H and gtx 1650 ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Its really worth it. *by on Reviewed in India 4 October 2025* This product is genuine, I applied it on my lenovo ideapad gaming 3 with ryzen 7 5800h cpu and rtx 3050 gpu, the result is awesome. I get 89 degree celsius max on running cinebench r23 app for 10 mins as well as I got around 76 degrees on performance test app cpu mark test at room temperature. Earlier on arctic mx4 i got 100+ degrees max. The cpu idling temp is around 45 to 46 degrees. The price is on higher side but I think its really worth it. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Best *by on Reviewed in India 7 March 2026* good product, really dropped my cpu temp, earlier temps used to cross 90°C now it goes above 80°C under heavy load only and lurks around 50-65°COnly issue i faced was applying the thermal pad, the plastic coating is very hard to remove ## Frequently Bought Together - PTM7950 40x80x0.25mm Phase Change GPU Thermal Pad, JOYJOM High Conductive Silicone Grease 8.5W/mK CPU Thermal Paste for PS5 Steam Deck CPU GPU SSD M.2 Laptop - UPSIREN Ultra 16.8w/mk Thermal Putty for VGA GPU IC Processor Rapid Cooling Thermal Pad Replacement Heat Blocking Putty (20g) - 4 Pack 13W/m.K Thermal Pads, 100 x 100mm 0.5mm+1mm+1.5mm+2mm Silicone Cooling Pad Non Conductive Heat Resistance Extreme Odyssey Cover with Dual Self-Adhesive Films for PC Laptop PS4 --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.com.ar/products/589462692-ptm7950-40x80x0-2mm-phase-change-gpu-thermal-pad-joyjom-high](https://www.desertcart.com.ar/products/589462692-ptm7950-40x80x0-2mm-phase-change-gpu-thermal-pad-joyjom-high) --- *Product available on Desertcart Argentina* *Store origin: AR* *Last updated: 2026-10-03*
