Thank you.** A: It really depends on the current and the drag the fly creates moving through the water column. **Q: Do you just stick the regular loop through and peg it?** A: I only peg the larger ones and that depends on where it sits on the leader. **Q: If you want to add to the line and already have flies tied on, do you need to cut them off and string this on first and re-tie?** A: You have to put the strike indicator on first then your nymph. Use the jam stop to adjust your depth. Choppier water, high winds or any other condition that would drown a dry fly. This works almost perfect. Not sure floating a red bobber down a crystal clear mountain stream is the best option for catching spooked fish. Maybe I am giving too much credit to the fish.
