I have a difficult time with most pillows as they don’t support my neck or head in the right way. I end up with a stiff neck and/or headaches if the pillows are not positioned just right. Previously I had to use two very squishy pillows while sleeping - one to shove under my neck and the second to keep the first from moving and also provide the tiniest bit of support to my head. This pillow is fluffy enough to shove most of it under my neck for a little more firm support while flattening the rest to support my head. I have had relatively few nights of poor sleep with this pillow. Those who want a firm pillow will probably not like this one, but if you need something soft and squishy to create your perfect sleep position, this may be the pillow for you.There were no odd smells, lumps in the filling, or bad stitching on the seams. These are nicely made pillows and fluffed right up when removed from the vacuum-sealed bag. Also, although this says “goose down feather”, I have not felt anything pokey like the quill or shaft in the pillow.
