It comes in a plastic tub, well-protected and a spare o-ring is included. Good thickness to the lens and crystal-clear. My only issue is not with the lens but the packaging: the lens is covered in a shrink-wrapped polythene material which was quite difficult to remove. When I did get it off, it had left a sticky residue on the lens. Fortunately, I'm a photographer and had the right stuff to remove it, isopropyl alcohol and a cotton bud, finished off with a polishing cloth.This apart, a great upgrade for a Maglite torch. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great replacement for an old well worn lens *by on Reviewed in the United Kingdom 22 December 2024* Being brand new it is far clearer than my old Maglite lens, should be far more scratch resistant than the original plastic one was. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Far clearer than the plastic lens fitted. *by on Reviewed in the United Kingdom 2 August 2024* I have 2 Maglite torches that these fit - a 3-D cell and a 4-D cell, both of which have been upgraded from filament bulbs to the Cree 3Watt LED bulb - also a very useful upgrade.
