Review: Perfect for Toddlers - As a parent, ensuring the safety of my little one is always a top priority. That’s why I decided to try out the Strap Lock. I must say, I’m thoroughly impressed with its performance. The first thing I noticed was the ease of installation. The adhesive backing is strong and adheres well to a variety of surfaces without leaving any residue. This is a game-changer for rented homes where drilling or permanent fixtures are not an option. The durability of the straps is another plus. They’ve withstood the curious hands of my toddler, who has yet to figure out how to unlock them. This gives me peace of mind knowing that cabinets and drawers containing hazardous items are securely locked away. The versatility of these locks is commendable. I’ve used them on everything from kitchen cabinets to the toilet seat, and they’ve performed flawlessly. The design is sleek and unobtrusive, blending well with my home decor. However, there’s always room for improvement. If I could suggest one thing, it would be to offer a variety of colors to match different furniture finishes. Overall, the Strap Lock is a reliable safety solution that I would highly recommend to any parent looking to childproof their home effectively. Review: Perfect For Those With Toddlers - These safety straps have been a brilliant addition to our home. With a very curious 2-year-old who loves opening every door and drawer, we needed a simple but effective solution to keep things secure - especially in the kitchen. Installation was super easy and only took a few minutes. No tools required, and they stick really well to both doors and drawers. We’ve used them on various cabinets, and they’ve held up perfectly so far. It gives us real peace of mind knowing our toddler can’t get into places with sharp utensils or cleaning products. They're strong, discreet, and do exactly what they’re supposed to do. Definitely recommend for anyone with little ones at home! ## Features - Warning:To be used under the direct supervision of an adult - TESTED TO A 35 KG PULL: Each strap is tested to withstand a 35 kg pull force and to EN 16948:2017, the European standard for child-resistant locking devices on furniture. Cupboards and drawers stay shut against a determined toddler, while an adult opens the catch with a quick one-hand release. - SECURES WHAT MAGNETIC LOCKS CAN'T: One 8 pack childproofs kitchen cupboards, drawers, double doors, wardrobes, fridges, freezers, bins and toilet seats, including doors and gaps a hidden magnetic catch cannot line up with. Not for hot surfaces: do not fit on an oven door. - ADJUSTABLE AND CUT TO FIT: Adjust each strap from 4 cm to 10 cm, then trim the excess with scissors for a neat fit across narrow gaps, around corners and past handles. One design covers cupboards, drawers and appliances of different sizes, so the same strap works in the kitchen, bathroom, bedroom and utility room. - NO DRILLING, FITTED IN 30 SECONDS: Extra strong 3M adhesive that lasts 100x longer sticks to wood, PVC, glass and metal with no screws, no tools and no lasting damage, ideal for rented homes. Clean and dry the surface, press firmly and leave 24 hours before use. To remove, warm the pad with a hairdryer on medium heat for 30 to 60 seconds and twist it gently away. - 8 SPARE 3M PADS INCLUDED, NON-TOXIC, AWARD WINNING: In the box: 8 child safety straps, 8 spare 3M adhesive pads for refitting and an instruction guide. Made from ABS and PP plastic, with materials tested to EN71-3:2019+A2:2024. Made for Mums Awards 2024 Gold, from the UK's No.1 Baby Safety Range. My baby isn't able to unlock these. The glue on the tapes is very strong which is helpful to keep the locks in place and even with pulling strongly the locks won't come out. The reason I am not giving five star just because initially it is hard to figure out how to lock-unlock and adjust the band to apply, user manual doesn't look very clear, Locks are quite tight and hard to move the front layer to adjust the band to put in the desired Length, Plus removing the locks is extremely hard, I used blow dryer's hot air but still removal wasn't easy, I eneded up putting scratches on my drawers as I had to use sharp object to forcefully remove the dual tapes, its frustrating. Apart from this, Locks are strong enough that baby can't unlock them so the product serves the purpose. ## Frequently Bought Together - BABYGO® Cupboard Locks for Children (8 Pack) with Smart Unlock | Premium and Adjustable Child Safety Straps for Baby Proofing Kitchen | 30 Second Install and No DIY - White - 10 Pack Plug Socket Covers UK, Child Baby Plug Socket Covers for Sockets UK - Furniture Straps (10 Pack) Baby Proofing Furniture Wall Anchor, Anti Tip Wall Anchor Secure Cabinet, Wardrobe to Wall Protect Toddler and Pet from Falling Furniture, Adjustable Child Safety Straps --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.com.ar/products/586686279-babygo-child-safety-cupboard-locks-8-pack-extra-strong-3m](https://www.desertcart.com.ar/products/586686279-babygo-child-safety-cupboard-locks-8-pack-extra-strong-3m) --- *Product available on Desertcart Argentina* *Store origin: AR* *Last updated: 2026-10-15*
