My replacement xmtr arrived today and is much better. It works as advertised. It is not for whole house use but near your vintage AM radio. I modified it a bit to use a 9v battery for portability. No return on this change. It does have a bit of a learning curve figuring out my MP3 player volume then the xmtr volume so it does not distort. 3/4 volume on the player and 1/4 volume on the xmtr seems to work here. Fidelity is only as good as what you send. It is also directional so you need to orient it a bit to get the best signal. That is how AM works.

Unit came. Plugged it into the 9V power supply. DOA. Does Not Work. The LED doe snot light. The unit does not transmit. I ordered a replacement, but not confident that will work either.
